Biography

Andrew Nelson is an associate in Hawley Troxell’s Workers’ Compensation and Litigation practice groups in Boise. Andrew received his J.D. from the University of Idaho College of Law in 2021 and went on to become a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable John P. Schlegelmilch in Yerington, NV. He later joined the Nevada Attorney General’s office, as the Deputy Attorney General, representing the state in 42 U.S.C. §1983 cases.

In 2024, Andrew returned to Idaho as the Deputy Attorney General for the Idaho Attorney General’s office, primarily reviewing consumer complaints in conjunction with the Idaho Consumer Protection Act.
