Eric W. Stokes is a Partner in Hawley Troxell’s Litigation and Insurance practice groups in Boise. Eric is a trial lawyer who represents individuals, businesses, governmental entities, and insurance companies in a variety of litigation areas ranging from negligence to malpractice to whistleblower retaliation.
Eric litigates cases from inception to settlement or trial in state and federal courts. He emphasizes motion practice to obtain dismissal of claims in a variety of practice areas including medical malpractice, construction defect, and personal injury. Eric co-chaired an admitted personal injury case to an Idaho jury, who returned a jury verdict in favor of Eric’s client for an amount below all previous settlement offers. He also co-chaired a bench trial in a complex litigation matter and obtained a verdict dismissing all claims against his client.
