Biography

Rivkah Young is a registered Patent Agent working within Hawley Troxell’s Patent and Intellectual Property and Internet groups. Prior to her role as a Patent Agent, Ms. Young worked for 14 years as a patent clerk and patent specialist, assisting with all aspects of patent filing and prosecution and frequently interacting with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Consequently, Ms. Young has extensive knowledge of the Patent Office rules and procedures for the filing and prosecution of both domestic and international patent applications. Ms. Young also has several years of experience working with foreign patent counsel worldwide to facilitate protection of clients’ patent portfolios abroad.

Ms. Young is a graduate of the University of California, Santa Cruz and has significant expertise in the field of Computer Science and Engineering. She has a technical focus on software applications and systems, mobile applications and infrastructure, computing system architecture, and microprocessor architecture and design.

Ms. Young is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
