When important public policy is being crafted, Steve Thomas plays a critical role as a leader in legislative advocacy and state government affairs. He represents clients in such industries as forest products, finance, oil and gas, railroad, health insurance, social media, and soft drinks. He specializes in commercial litigation, product liability, resource disputes, and insurance defense.
Steve is a member of the litigation practice area and a member of the firm’s Board of Partners. He previously chaired the Idaho Association of Commerce and Industry is a past director of the Associated Taxpayers of Idaho, Inc., and is a member of the Litigation Counsel of America, Trial Lawyer Honorary Society. He is a member of the American Bar Association – Litigation, Tort Trial and Insurance Practice, Environmental Energy and Resources; and Idaho State Bar – Litigation, Environment and Natural Resources, Commercial Law, Bankruptcy, Business, and Corporate Law Sections.
