Hawley Troxell is pleased to announce attorneys Landon Brown and Kenny Shumard have been elected as equity partners and Erin Tognetti has been elected as an income partner.
Boise Office
Landon’s practice focuses on a variety of business and real estate transactional matters such as drafting purchase and sale agreements, lease agreements, entity formation documents, and governance documents. Landon is also well-versed in planning and zoning, land use, and development matters. Additionally, he performs a wide range of litigation, bringing nearly a decade of legal experience with him to the firm.
Landon received the Idaho Business Review’s Leaders in Law, Up and Coming award in 2024 and is in his first year in the Boise Chamber Metro Leadership Boise class of 2027. He also received the CASA Volunteer Attorney award, Attorney Extraordinaire in 2017.
Landon received his J.D. cum laude from University of Idaho College of Law in 2012. During law school, he was Team Leader of the D. Craig Lewis Trial Team and Boise Managing Editor for the Idaho Law Review.
Kenny is in the firm’s Litigation and Appellate practice groups. He has experience representing clients big and small in state and federal courts in all stages of litigation, from pre-filing through appeals. Kenny also has a background in computer science and software development and received dual-undergraduate degrees magna cum laude in Computer Science and Mathematics from Saint Joseph’s College.
Kenny has been ranked by Mountain States Super Lawyers in Business Litigation since 2024 and received the Idaho Business Review’s Leaders in Law – Associates award in 2025.
Kenny received his J.D. summa cum laude from University of Idaho College of Law in 2025 and was Associate Editor for the Idaho Law Review.
Pocatello Office
Erin is in the firm’s Litigation and Employment practice groups. After being admitted to the California bar in 2012, Erin worked with a civil firm for six years, practicing many areas of civil law including probate litigation, property law, construction defect, business law, and landlord/tenant law. Prior to joining Hawley Troxell, she served three years as the Bannock County Senior Prosecuting Attorney in Pocatello.
Erin is President of the Board of Directors for the non-profit Bright Tomorrow Child Advocacy Center. She is also a member of the American Mensa and the Golden Key Honor Society.
Erin received her J.D. from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 2011. She is licensed to practice in Idaho and California.
