Boise, Idaho – November 4, 2019. Hawley Troxell is pleased to announce that attorney Janine P. Reynard, has returned to Hawley Troxell. Janine was an associate attorney from 2000-2006, and a staff attorney from 2008-2011 with Hawley Troxell. Janine’s practice will focus on Workers’ Compensation.
Janine has over 20 years of experience and has handled all aspects of litigation in the areas of bankruptcy and creditors’ rights, general civil, landlord/tenant, breach of contract, health care and malpractice claims. Janine has also reviewed and revised contracts and employer policies and procedures; assisted with the investigation and analysis of regulatory and administrative matters; and reviewed and analyzed proposed legislation.
During her time as a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Trustee, District of Idaho, Janine was responsible for oversight and administration of all aspects of chapter 7 bankruptcy cases including review and analysis of bankruptcy and other financial documents; investigation and evaluation of assets for liquidation to pay creditors, including contract rights, litigations rights, residential and commercial real property, and numerous types of personal property; conducted debtor and related party interviews; preparation of court pleadings; and participation in all aspects of negotiations, mediations and litigation.
Prior to law school, Janine served as an Army Nurse Corps Officer earning the rank of Captain. She has a B.S. in Nursing from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She received her J.D. magna cum laude from Gonzaga University School of Law. Janine was a recipient of the Thomas More Scholarship; Gonzaga Law Review; and Legal Research and Writing Awards.
Janine has served as a member of the Advisory Committee for the Local Bankruptcy Rules, District of Idaho; a member of St. Mary’s School Advisory Board; and a past council member of the Commercial Law and Bankruptcy Section, Idaho State Bar.
