Attorneys Mike Baldner and Jonathan Bauer Join Firm

Hawley Troxell is pleased to announce that attorneys Mike Baldner and Jonathan R. Bauer have joined the firm. Baldner and Bauer are both transactional attorneys; Baldner specializing in business and real estate law and Bauer specializing in business, estate planning and real estate law.

Baldner’s prior experience included successfully structuring corporations, partnerships, joint ventures, limited liability companies and partnerships, along with mergers, acquisitions and sales of businesses. Baldner also drafted and negotiated purchases and sales transactions, leases, tax deferred exchanges, restrictive covenant and easements, loan documents and mediation relating to real estate development and construction.

Baldner received his J.D. from the University Of Idaho College of Law in Moscow, Idaho and his B.A. from Boise State University.

In addition he has been recognized as Chambers and Partners USA-Real Estate Law 2008-2013 and Super Lawyers-Real Estate 2013 and the Idaho Business Review Forty Accomplished under Forty, 2006.

Bauer’s prior experience also included successfully structuring corporations, partnerships, joint ventures, limited liability companies and partnerships, along with mergers acquisitions, sales of businesses and business transition planning. Bauer also specializes in drafting a variety of estate planning vehicles, including wills, trusts, power of attorney and healthcare directives. His real estate background is extensive, drafting and negotiating purchase and sale transactions, leases, easements and other real property documents, along with development financing.

Bauer received his J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York, New York and his B.S. in Economics and Psychology from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.

Bauer has been recognized by Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce Leadership Boise Program and the Idaho Business Review Forty Accomplished under Forty, 2009. He served on the Idaho Botanical Garden’s Board of Directors from 2010-2013 and is active with Ted Trueblood Chapter of Trout Unlimited, Idaho State Bar sections on business & corporate law, real property and taxation, probate & trust law and WealthCounsel, a national group of estate planning attorneys.
