Biography

Catherine Renshaw is an associate in the firm’s Immigration practice group. Catherine has experience completing various forms for U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, including waivers, family- and employment-based petitions, and specialized visa applications, as well as preparing H-1B applications and underlying PERM Labor Certifications. She has represented clients in affirmative asylum proceedings before U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services and in motions to reopen removal proceedings before I.C.E. She also has familiarity with defensive asylum proceedings in immigration court.

Catherine received her J.D. cum laude from the University of Idaho College of Law in 2022 prior to serving as a Law Clerk to the Honorable John R. Stegner of the Idaho Supreme Court. While in law school, Catherine was a T.A. for the 1L Legal Writing and Analysis course, served as Editor-in-Chief of the Idaho Law Review, and worked as a Research Assistant and Student Clerk for the University of Idaho Immigration Litigation and Appellate Clinic. Catherine also worked as a summer associate with Hawley Troxell in 2021.
