Ron also advises industrial customers on electric issues and represents large energy consumers before the Idaho Public Utilities Commission and other state regulatory commissions. He is general counsel to a state energy facility bonding authority and an electric cooperative. Ron is active in renewable energy and independent power development – in negotiating contracts, at the Idaho Legislature, and before the Idaho PUC. For over the past decade Ron has been named by U.S. News and World Report as one of Idaho’s Best Lawyers® in the field of energy law.
Ron is a member of the Oregon and Idaho Bar Associations. His past and present community service includes the Boise Public Library Foundation, Boy Scouts of America, The Idaho Foodbank Warehouse, the Friendship Food Pantry and the American Heart Association.
