Corporate Transparency Act Update – Nationwide Preliminary Injunction Reinstated
The court ordered preliminary injunction that halted enforcement of the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA) nationwide has been reinstated.
ReadPaula Landholm Kluksdal is Co-Chair of the Banking practice group and was a member of the Board of Partners from 2012-2020. She focuses her practice in the areas of real estate and finance, and represents a wide variety of lenders and borrowers in the documentation and due diligence necessary for securitized lending, compliance with Idaho’s commercial lending regulations, loan documentation, and collection. She has extensive experience in the negotiation and drafting of legal opinions on commercial lending laws. She actively represents various municipalities and 501(c) (3) borrowers in the negotiation, documentation, and compliance in connection with public finance transactions.
Paula Kluksdal has significant experience in real estate transactions, including the negotiation of purchase and sale contracts, assignments, leases, and subleases, as well as resolution of property management issues (including the restrictive covenants and easements). She has facilitated numerous multi-million dollar real estate closings.
Paula recently became the first woman to receive the Idaho State Bar Richard C. Fields Award, which is given to honor those who provide the highest standard of service, professionalism, and leadership within the Idaho State Bar.
