Hawley Troxell is pleased to announce attorney Michelle Williams has joined the firm.
Michelle is an attorney with the firm’s Immigration, Litigation, and Business practice groups, focusing primarily on Immigration.
Michelle’s mother, an immigrant from Mexico, raised Michelle speaking both English and Spanish, Michelle has always had a deep love for her Hispanic heritage. During her time in law school, she was actively involved in Concordia’s immigration clinic, where she witnessed the struggles faced by immigrants. This was the start of her devotion to removal defense and passionately advocating for her clients in court.
Throughout her career, Michelle’s practice has primarily focused on family immigration and removal defense, which has come with significant federal litigation and appellate advocacy experience. She has represented many clients in court before the Executive Office of Immigration Review (EOIR), the Board of Immigration Appeals, and the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, as well as representing clients in their interviews before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS).
Michelle is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA)-Idaho Section, member of the Federal Bar Association, and was previously the liaison with the Executive Office for Immigration (EOIR).
Michelle graduated in 2011 from Boise State University with a B.S. in Political Science, International Relations Emphasis, and received her J.D. from Concordia University School of Law in 2017.
