Boise, Idaho – January 1, 2021. Hawley Troxell is pleased to announce that partner, Stephen R. Thomas has been re-elected for his second 4-year term to the firm’s Board of Partners, additionally Nicholas G. Miller’s role as the firm’s Managing Partner, has been extended for another year to February 1, 2022. They will continue to serve with Brad P. Miller, Thomas J. Mortell, and Sheila R. Schwager.
The equity partners wanted,“Continuity amid Change” as it has been a year of uncertainty, but the firm is strong, and for the sake of our clients and staff we want to keep consistency and experience guiding the firm, “ stated Susan Olson, the firm’s COO and CFO. She added “The vote was unanimous to renew Steve and Nick’s positions on the Board of Partners.”
Stephen (Steve) Thomas is a member of the litigation practice area. He has also established a practice in state government affairs and legislative advocacy. He handles commercial litigation, products liability, resources disputes, and insurance defense. As a legislative advocate, Steve represents clients in such industries as oil and gas, railroad, health insurance, forest products, social media, and soft drink industries.
Nicholas (Nick) Miller maintains an active practice in corporate transactions, securities offerings, securities law, and municipal bond transactions. He works with large and small businesses and educational institutions. Nick has been rated in America’s Best Lawyers for over 20 years and was the Idaho Corporate Lawyer of the Year for 2009 and 2013, and he is a fellow of the American College of Bond Counsel.
