Partner Paula Kluksdal is the First Recipient of Idaho Women Lawyers Setting the Bar Award

Paula L. KluksdalPartner Paula L. Kluksdal is the first woman to receive the Idaho Women Lawyers 2013 Setting the Bar Award. The award is intended to honor a female lawyer who is well respected in the legal field for exemplary service and championing and mentoring others. Kluksdal received the award due to her devotion to the Fourth District Bar Association, work with Idaho Partners Against Domestic Violence, commitment to Hawley Troxell, and for serving as a role model for women in leadership. She will be honored at the inaugural Celebrating Women in the Law Gala on Thursday, March 14, at 6:00 pm at the Boise Centre on the Grove.

“I cannot think of anyone more deserving of this award. Paula truly exemplifies one who is devoted to her family, her community and her profession through her acts and deeds. She has the intellect and compassion to accomplish any goal she sets for herself. I feel that she is definitely one of the premier female attorneys in practice in Idaho,” said an Idaho State Bar member.

Kluksdal is co-chair of the banking department and focuses her practice in the areas of real estate and finance. She has served on the executive committee of Idaho Partners Against Domestic Violence since 2005, and was recently selected as the first woman to serve on Hawley Troxell’s Board of Partners. Kluksdal was the recipient of the Idaho State Bar Outstanding Service Award in 2011, Idaho Business Review Women of the Year Award in 2008, and Women’s & Children’s Alliance TWIN Award in 2007.
