Biography

Michelle Williams is an attorney in Hawley Troxell’s Immigration, Litigation, and Business practice groups. She received her J.D. from Concordia University School of Law in 2017.

Michelle’s mother, an immigrant from Mexico, raised Michelle speaking both English and Spanish, and Michelle has always had a deep love for her Hispanic heritage. During her time in law school, she was actively involved in Concordia’s immigration clinic, where she witnessed the struggles faced by immigrants. This was the start of her devotion to removal defense and passionately advocating for her clients in court.

Throughout her career, Michelle’s practice has primarily focused on family immigration and removal defense, which has come with significant federal litigation and appellate advocacy experience. She has represented many clients in court before the Executive Office of Immigration Review (EOIR), the Board of Immigration Appeals, and the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, as well as representing clients in their interviews before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS).

Michelle is a loving wife and mother who enjoys dancing and getting out in the great outdoors of Idaho.
