ReadMichelle Williams is an attorney in Hawley Troxell’s Immigration, Litigation, Business, and Employment practice groups. Michelle’s practice primarily focuses on business and employment-based immigration law. With a wealth of experience, Michelle represents clients in complex immigration matters before a wide range of government entities, including the United States Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS), the Department of State (DOS), the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA), the Department of Labor (DOL), Immigration Customs and Enforcement (ICE), Executive Office of Immigration Review (EOIR) as well matters before the federal district court and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Her extensive advocacy experience extends to securing work visas, handling PERM labor certifications, and obtaining employment-based green cards, among other critical immigration needs.
Michelle advises employers on workforce authorization, I-9 compliance, and navigating government audits. She also develops tailored strategies for responding to ICE investigations and ensuring ongoing compliance with evolving immigration regulations.
In addition to her legal representation, Michelle conducts specialized training for HR teams to help them stay ahead of regulatory changes and mitigate risks.
