Biography

Rita Ricks is a member of Hawley Troxell’s Real Estate practice group and focuses her practice on a broad variety of complex commercial real estate transactions. This includes a long history of representing real estate developers, investors, landlords and tenants. She has extensive experience in real estate sales and acquisitions, developments, construction, leasing and financing, including multi-phase and multi-state transactions. Her practice includes creation of business entities for owning and operating commercial properties.

As outside counsel for Albertsons Companies for over three decades, along with representation of other retail developers, she has significant experience in all aspects of shopping center development and operation, including use restrictions, property management, sales and leasing.

Her practice includes the creation and operation of numerous commercial condominium projects.
