In addition to commercial real estate development she has extensive experience in loan documentation and foreclosure. Ms. Ricks represents financial institutions in financing transactions, including multi-phase and multi-state transactions and in work-outs, collection and foreclosure matters.
Significant Representation
Outside counsel for Albertson’s, Inc. for nearly 12 years, acquiring sites in shopping centers throughout the U.S., negotiating use restrictions and common maintenance agreements with land developers and national retailers.
Represent the developer of a 960 acre master planned commercial/residential community in all aspects of developing the community, including entitlements, infrastructure financing and construction, restrictive covenants, owners’ associations, selling and leasing.
Represent the developers of various commercial shopping centers, including acquisition, entitlements, development and construction, selling and leasing.
Represent commercial property managers on maintenance issues and collections.
Assist various businesses in the creation of their legal entities and business operations.
Representation of numerous national and regional lenders in documenting loans secured by real property and opinion letters.
