Biography

Amber Collett is an associate in the firm’s Banking, Creditor Rights & Bankruptcy, Insurance, Litigation, and Real Estate practice groups. Amber has experience conducting legal research, assisting with trial preparation, drafting & reviewing various case filings, and preparing legal wills. Prior to receiving her J.D. from the University of Idaho College of Law in May 2022, Amber was a summer associate with Hawley Troxell in 2021.

While attending law school, Amber was an active member of the legal community, holding several positions for the Idaho Law Review, serving as Events Coordinator for the Women’s Law Caucus, Vice President of the Federal Bar Association, and serving as a Veteran’s Legal Wills Clinic Volunteer for the Idaho Military Legal Alliance. She also received two CALI Awards for being the highest-scoring student in her Insurance Law and Litigation: Planning & Drafting classes.

Prior to law school, Amber took an academic gap year and worked as a personal banker. In her free time, she enjoys hiking and exploring the outdoors, traveling, yoga, golf, and spending time with friends and family.
