1. Authorization and Release: I authorize Hawley Troxell Ennis & Hawley to conduct an investigation of my qualifications for employment. I realize that the investigation will include contacting prior employers or other third parties to release all information about me to HTEH. I release HTEH and any and all persons and parties connected with the investigation from any and all claims or damages arising from the furnishing of information as part of that investigation.
2. Employment-At-Will: I understand that employment with HTEH is at-will and may be terminated at any time with or without cause. I further acknowledge that HTEH’s policies, manuals, or other similar documents do not change the terms of employment at will nor do they create a contract of employment or contractual terms of employment.
3. Drug Free Workplace: HTEH is committed to providing a safe work environment and to employing a workforce free from the use of illegal drugs and abuse of alcohol. With this objective in mind, HTEH has established a policy of pre-employment drug testing.
4. Criminal Record Check: I understand that in conjunction with my application for employment, HTEH may conduct a criminal record check of criminal convictions.
5. Job Related Testing: I understand that HTEH may use testing to determine if I am qualified to perform the essential functions of the position for which I am applying.
6. Confidential Information: During and after employment with HTEH I will not divulge, or appropriate for my own use or for the use of others, any knowledge or information obtained by me during my employment and considered by HTEH to be confidential.
7. Tobacco Use: Unless otherwise prohibited by applicable law, HTEH promotes a tobacco-free workplace and is committed to employing a workforce that abstains from the use of tobacco products, pipes, cigars, cigarettes, and including e-cigarettes, and vaping devices. Use of these products does not automatically exclude an applicant from employment, but may be a factor used in the final hiring decision.
