Hawley Troxell is pleased to announce attorney Nikki O’Toole has been elected by the board of directors and equity partners to join the firm as a partner, effective January 27, 2025.
Nikki’s practice primarily involves litigation including workers’ compensation defense, medical malpractice, medical indigency, and occupational licensing disputes, as well as advising healthcare clients in transactional and compliance matters. Nikki has volunteered her legal skills with the Idaho Volunteer Lawyers Program, Idaho Trial Lawyers Association, and the Intermountain Fair Housing Council. She is also involved with the special needs community as an advocate for children with developmental disabilities in the community and in the educational setting.
Nikki earned her J.D. from the University of Idaho College of Law in 2020, and was Managing Editor of the Idaho Critical Legal Studies Journal. She received her B.A. in Business Administration from Azusa Pacific University.
Nikki is admitted to practice law in Idaho and Washington, and is a member of both the Idaho and Washington Bar Associations. She is also co-chair to the firm’s Workers’ Compensation Law practice group and chair of the Idaho State Bar Worker’s Compensation Section.
