Partner Sarah Reed Received Idaho Business Review’s 2019 Women of the Year Award

Boise, ID – March 6, 2019.  Hawley Troxell is pleased to announce partner Sarah Reed was named a 2019 Women of the Year honoree by the Idaho Business Review.  Only 50 recipients were selected from more than 215 nominees by a panel of past honorees and Idaho women business leaders.  Sarah is being honored for her leadership skills, achievements, and community involvement.

“Sarah is an exceptional attorney, mentor, community member, and mother.  She is absolutely deserving of this special recognition and we commend her,” said Managing Partner Nick Miller.

Sarah is a partner and member of the Banking and Real Estate practice groups.  She represents a wide variety of lenders and borrowers in the documentation and due diligence necessary for securitized lending. Sarah has significant experience in real estate transactions and title and management, including acquisitions, leases, restrictive covenants and easements, zoning and the resolution of property management issues.

Sarah has been the recipient of Idaho Business Review’s Accomplished 40 Under 40, Idaho Business Review’s Leaders in Law, Up and Coming, Women’s & Children’s Alliance, Tribute to Women & Industry (TWIN) award, Idaho State Bar, Business and Corporate Law Section, Professional Development Series Participant, and Community Associations Institute Member, Orange County Chapter, Rookie of the Year.

Sarah currently is a member of Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) of Idaho, Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Idaho and Idaho Women Lawyers.  Sarah is past-chair of the Idaho State Bar, Business and Corporate Law Section, past chair of Leadership Boise Academy Interview and Selection committee, and a graduate of Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce Leadership Boise.  Sarah currently is a board member of FUNDSY.

Sarah was honored at the Idaho Business Review’s Women of the Year awards gala along with the other Women of the Year recipients on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at Boise Centre.  The evening concluded with the naming of Cherie Buckner-Webb, Idaho State Senator, as Woman of the Year.
