She will be joined by Stephen L. Adams, Eric W. Stokes, Madison N. Miles, and Jack Gjording (retired from active legal practice). Josh Scholer was also a member of the Gjording|Fouser team, where he practiced insurance defense prior to joining Hawley Troxell in October of 2025. The law firms announced jointly they are coming together to further increase the breadth of expertise and talent to enhance and expand services for clients.

Trudy Fouser – Partner
Trudy will practice in the firm’s Litigation and Healthcare practice groups. She has been lead counsel for healthcare facilities, governmental entities, businesses and professionals in more than 65 medical malpractice employment law and personal injury civil jury trials.

Stephen L. Adams – Partner
Stephen will practice in the firm’s Litigation, Healthcare, Insurance and Appellate practice groups. He represents insurance companies, healthcare facilities, individuals, and professionals involve in litigation ranging from professional malpractice to appeals to personal injury.

Eric W. Stokes – Partner
Eric will practice in the firm’s Litigation and Insurance practice groups. He is a trial lawyer who represents individuals, businesses, governmental entities, and insurance companies in a variety of litigation areas ranging from negligence to malpractice to whistleblower retaliation.

Madison N. Miles – Attorney
Madison will practice in the firm’s Litigation, Healthcare, and Insurance practice groups. Madison, a trial attorney representing healthcare facilities, businesses, governmental entities, insurance companies, and professionals involved in complex litigation.
Josh Scholer – Government Affairs & Litigation Associate
Josh will focus on Government Affairs, working closely with the Legislators and Governor’s office. He will also practice in Litigation matters.
