Hawley Troxell partners are pleased to announce that partner Sarah Reed has been elected to serve on the firm’s Board of Partners. Sarah will start her three-year term on February 1, 2025. She joins co-managing partners Tom Mortell and Brad Miller, along with Steve Frinsko, Sheila Schwager, and Greg Embrey on the firm’s Board of Partners.
Sarah is also Chair of the firm’s Real Estate Law practice group. Combining her industry knowledge with a passion for complex commercial real estate finance transactions, Sarah proactively works with both borrower and lenders on the full scope of their real estate issues. From prominent commercial lending institutions to real estate owners and developers, Sarah’s dexterity and hands-on approach benefits clients in the structuring, negotiations, and due diligence of a broad spectrum of transactions.
Sarah is a board member of the Building Owners & Managers Association of Idaho (BOMA), member of the Community Associations Institute of Idaho (CAI), member of Idaho Women Lawyers, past chair of the Idaho State Bar Business and Corporate Law section, past board member of FUNDSY, graduate of the Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Boise program, and a participant of the Idaho State Bar Business and Corporate Law Section’s Professional Development Series. She has been honored as one of the Idaho Business Review’s Accomplished 40 Under 40, Idaho Business Review’s Leaders in Law – Up and Coming, Women’s & Children’s Alliance’s Tribute to Women & Industry (TWIN), and Rookie of the Year of the Community Associations Institute’s Orange County Chapter.
Sarah earned her J.D. cum laude from the University of North Dakota School of Law in 2005. She is licensed to practice in Idaho, California, and U.S. District Court’s District of Idaho and Central District of California.
