Hawley Troxell is pleased to announce attorney Andrew Nelson has joined the firm. Andrew is an associate in the firm’s Workers’ Compensation and Litigation practice areas. Andrew received his J.D. from the University of Idaho College of Law in 2021 and his B.A. in Political Science and Pre-Law in 2017 from Buena Vista University.
Prior to joining Hawley Troxell, Andrew was a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable John P. Schlegelmilch in Yerington, Nevada. He later joined the Nevada Attorney General’s office, as the Deputy Attorney General, representing the state in 42 U.S.C. §1983 cases. In 2024, Andrew returned to Idaho as the Deputy Attorney General for the Idaho Attorney General’s office, primarily reviewing consumer complaints in conjunction with the Idaho Consumer Protection Act.
Andrew is licensed to practice law in Idaho, Nevada, United States District Court, District of Idaho, and United States District Court, District of Nevada.
