Biography

Sawyer Margett works primarily in Hawley Troxell’s Labor & Employment and Litigation practice groups.

Sawyer earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Gonzaga University and then attended the University of Washington School of Law, where he joined both the Moot Court Honor Board and the Washington Journal of Environmental Law and Policy. During law school, Sawyer worked as an extern for Judge Edward F. Shea in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Washington and Judge John C. Coughenour in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington. Sawyer also worked as a Rule 9 intern at the Snohomish County Public Defender Association.
