Biography

Joanna Puryear provides business, corporate, tax, and estate planning services to her clients with effective, comprehensive advice and representation in their legal matters. Joanna has an extensive litigation background that includes arguing before the Ninth Circuit of the United States Court of Appeals, providing her the ability to offer proactive guidance that anticipates and mitigates her clients’ risks.

Joanna is passionate and committed to delivering exceptional legal services to each of her clients, whose needs range from basic estate planning to complex tax and succession planning. Each client’s situation is unique, as are their goals and concerns, and Joanna devotes the time to understanding those circumstances, and working to provide solutions tailored to each client’s specific objectives. Joanna’s dedication to her clients and her craft has earned her a reputation as a trusted advisor and advocate.

In addition to her legal practice, Joanna takes public service very seriously, and is intricately involved in the Spokane legal community, currently serving as Past President for the Spokane Young Lawyers Division, Trustee on the Spokane County Bar Association Board of Directors, and Trustee on the Volunteer Lawyers Program Board of Directors. She routinely receives requests to present on various ethics and emerging legal issues in the community. Her talent for forging relationships has cultivated an expansive network of legal colleagues, further benefiting her clients by providing valuable insights and access to resources to help them achieve their legal goals.
