Biography

Abby Maurer-Lesser is an associate in the firm’s Litigation practice group with emphasis in areas of medical malpractice defense, labor & employment, and insurance law.

Abby earned her Juris Doctorate from Gonzaga University School of Law, where she graduated summa cum laude. While in law school, Abby served as the Notes and Comments Editor of the Gonzaga Law Review and completed a two-year internship at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Washington.

Prior to joining Hawley Troxell, Abby clerked for Judge Salvador Mendoza Jr. in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Washington and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Abby is an adept oral advocate and brings substantial experience in federal courts. In her spare time, Abby enjoys running, traveling with her husband, and attempting to keep up with her exuberant German Shepherd.
